[ Multi Blade Gang Saw ]

Structure : The Gang Saw structure is made up of high quality steel and consists of four columns duly connected and welded with cross beam to ensure maximum stability in resisting mechanical impacts to which it is subjected to during sawing.

For brisk cutting the machine is bound by rectilinear long run motion. The rugged duly stress relived blade rack frame accommodates the tensioning of diamond blades up to 12 tons each blade. The reciprocating motion guarantees friction of the segments in both the directions, thus allowing the cutting of the block. The reciprocating motion of blade rack is governed by oil bath bearing rollers and its adjustable in all direction to take care of stretching and deformation of blade rack.

The bearing rollers are always in contact with the slide rim by means of spring loading Bellevelle washer duly tensioned by adjusting pin. The blade rack is moved by double connecting rods which are placed at the both ends of blade rack which ensures that its movement remains perfectly rectilinear without any deviation even when more blades are on one side of rack and the block are of different sizes. The main advantage of double connecting rod is that all energy and mechanical thrust toward the blade rack are evenly spread.

The block trolley platform is situated between the four columns and is elevated by 90 mm diameter worm screws and heavy duty lead nuts attached to the four columns. These worm screws are protected from outside by protective casing. All the worm screws work together by means of transmission shaft and chain system duty coupled to motor and reduction gear box. The lifting platform runs on two plain and two prismatic vertical slide-ways which are hard chrome plated to ensure durability and protection against rust. These plain and prismatic slide ways ensure absolute precision of the platform climb. The prismatic slide ways prevent any deviation or tilting away from the vertical axis.

The battery unit consists of ultrasonic tested shaft of 280 mm dia mounted an heavy duty bearings which are enclosed in steel pedestals duly stress relieved. Both ends of the shaft are connected with alloy steel shafts to run connecting rods. High grade quality cast iron flywheel is mounted on the shaft.

The electric motor activates the flywheel via transmission pulley. The surface contract area of motor shaft is too small and its speed too high for a direct connection with the flywheel. The transmission pulley reduces the angles of the belts thus increasing the contact surfaces as well as reducing the speed between the motor shaft and flywheel. All components such as shafts, joists and chain are covered. The down feed / fast raising mechanism protected from outside elements.
