Quadra is a CNC milling and cutting centre with 6 controlled axes
Quadra is a CNC milling and cutting centre with 6 controlled axes, designed for machining profiles of aluminium, PVC
and light alloy in general. The fully automatic Quadra model, stands out for itsloader/feeder, consisting of a beam on which
the U axis, provided with a workpiece feed gripper, traverses. The loader can have 2feed distances: one of 100 mm which can
carry up to 20 profiles, and one of 200 mm which can take up to 10 profiles. Moreover it is possible to provide the machine
with an additional loader with provision for loading up to a maximum of 38 bars. The autonomy of such arrangement means that
the operator can leave the machine unattended for up to 8 hours. The milling unit is an electrically welded structure mounting
four electrically-driven, water-cooled spindles with ISO25 taper. The spindles rotate through 360°, with speeds up to 28,000
rpm while they traverse along the XYZ axes. The cutting module is with a rising blade, diameter 600 mm having provision for
rotary movement from -22°30' to +22°30' according to a vertical axis. Lastly the unloader sees to the removal of the finished
workpieces.
